Cambiaste y alegraste la vida de quien te conocio. Te recordare con mucho cariño amigo. Nunca te olvidare. Cantare todas las canciones de RBD y Selena fuerte por que se que estaras cantando conmigo. Cuando haga un guizo recordare tu voz diciendome como lo hace tu mama. Y en cada dicho mexicano que escuche recordare como te gustaba anotarlos para poder decirmelos despues. Christina Izaguirre There are no words to describe how deeply saddened we are to have lost you, Daniel. You will be missed by us all, faculty, staff, and students. You were our student's Champion, there is nothing you wouldn't do to help someone in need. You always volunteered and went out of your way to help make Estrella a better place, not just for students and staff, but for our community as a whole. Sheryl Susunkewa I met Daniel when he was a student worker at the NASA Center ( Math & Science). Back then I was a student enrolled in College Algebra class. Thank you for helping me & ever since then we’ve been good friends. In November 2019, Daniel encouraged me to sign up for the Native American Heritage Committee so I did. Unfortunately, in 2020 I was unable to participate in the event but he reached out to me for ideas. Daniel worked for Hoops of Learning for Native American high school students to earn college credits while in high school. At the Advisement Center his cubical workstation, he left us with good memories. Most of all, a gallery of art works include mine title: Clouds. Asquali (thank you) for the rain last night & today. Nadia Ismael I first met Daniel at the NASA tutoring center at EMCC...he tried to tutor me, but I was a hopeless case when it came to math lol we later got to know each other better when I worked at EMCC and then soon after that we became good friends. Some of my fondest memories involve Daniel and I’ll cherish the memories we shared. I’ll miss you my friend and will think of you every time I have a margarita...cheers

Jill Nico Daniel was a coworker and dear friend. He was always very helpful and thoughtful. He was also my son's academic advisor and CIS105 teacher at EMCC. I still have the thank you card he gave me for bringing him grapefruit at work. I was very surprised to get a thank you card for simply bringing fruit to work. That's Daniel though...always demonstrating a higher standard of care. I will miss Daniel very much. Prayers and blessings go out to all his family.
