Blanche I. Torres was born June 30, 1932 in Phoenix, Arizona to Pedro and Julia Valle. She passed away on March 5, 2021 at the age of 88 peacefully at her home in Phoenix, Arizona. She battled Dementia for two years.  She lived in Phoenix, Arizona for 88 years. She was a beautiful woman, always had a smile on her face, and loved her family. She loved to dance and won many contests in her teenage years dancing the jitterbug. She is preceded in death by her first husband Rudy R. Torres, daughter Sylvia M. Miranda, grandson Rudy Torres, and great grandson Jesse Lopez. She is survived by current husband Alfonso Gonzalez, son Robert Torres (Linda), daughter Christine Torres, son Christopher Torres (Melissa), and daughter Jacqueline T. Martinez (Joseph). Twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind her brother Gilbert Valle (Mary), her son-in-law Ruben Miranda and many nieces, and nephews. The funeral mass will be Thursday March 25, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. St. Mary’s Basilica 231 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix. Graveside service to follow at 11:30 A.M. at St. Francis Cemetery 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix. Condolences may be left at www.AvenidasFuneralChapel.com
