We are comforted by the knowledge that our loved ones are no longer suffering or in pain. (Ecclesiastes 9:5,10)  They are in a sleep-like state awaiting the day when Jesus says to those in the memorial tombs to come out (Acts 5:28-29). Revelation 21:3-4 assures us that God will “wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, or outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
